The International Society for Applied Cardiovascular Biology (ISACB) was founded in 1987, and is devoted to:
- Improve the quality of basic and applied research in all areas of cardiovascular biology.
- Enhance communication between basic scientists, industry scientists and clinicians involved in these disciplines throughout the world.
- Provide a forum of meetings featuring presentations of original work and topical reviews relevant to basic applied and clinical science of the cardiovascular system in health and disease.
